Bed in a Box advertises these folding frames as a bed frame and a box spring in one. I was a little skeptical, but the price was right and I got free shipping. I somehow imagined also that 14" high was about knee level.The frame was delivered quickly and I eagerly unpacked it. It locked in place (no collapsing) and I set my twin bed mattress on it. Turns out 14" is hip high with the mattress on top. And it feels just like I am sleeping on a box spring.
This frame has brought new life to my old mattress and good nights' sleeping for me. Highly recommended.
