The desk and stand are easy to put together and come pretty much as they look. A decent enough product. However, the company they were sold through made a simple missing hardware package into an unnecessary two month ordeal. I purchased this item on August 11. The package for the two drawer stand came without the hardware package. I attempted to contact the seller, Vision Decor, which was difficult because you have to leave an email and there is no customer service phone number given for the company. I was told they would send a new package and send a tracking number when it was on the way. Two weeks later there was still no hardware package or tracking number. I contacted them again and was told that they would have to contact the manufacturer of the product in China. Again I was told that they would send a tracking number when it was on its way. Two weeks later I contacted them again. I was told that they would have to order a whole new desk set and just send me the hardware package from it. It would take 6-8 weeks to arrive. (It has already been six weeks at this point and each email took several days for them to respond!) It was clear that whoever was in charge of the "customer service" emails was just finding random excuses to make me go away and not deal with the problem. Surely, hardware packages go missing from time to time, and there must be an easy solution that does not involve contacting China or reordering whole furniture units...Finally I decided to contact Coaster Furniture directly and the hardware package was delivered without incident within a week. However, by this time it was October 19th, and I have had a box of the pieces of the stand just sitting around my house waiting this whole time. There is no reason why this had to take the better part of two months just for some screws and brackets! Vision Decor is one of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with!
