The picture is brighter than I expected, very pleased with that. The plate is such better quality than I expected, too. It's a really good wood plate. It uses + screws, instead of screws, just FYI. I do wish that the screws were painted to match the Max & Ruby picture, but I still love this nonetheless! :)
