Lifestyles Barclay Quilt Set

This item is listed as a Queen/Full quilt, but in reality, it's barely a Full size. I purchased this item for a standard queen bed, & the quilt falls about 16" short of the length (top of bed to foot of bed). I have purchased products from Amazon for many years, & this is the fist time I have been so disappointed. The color & quality are good, but it is woefully mis-sized.

This quilt is great quality, very nice soft neutral colors. Colors are true to picture/description, cream is cream and the "Tan" is a combination of khaki tan, a lite brown, and a taupe. There is a beautiful soft sheen to this quilt that enhances its style and color.

The "Quilting" is done by sewing 3/4" straight lines from bottom to top on the cream and end to end on the Tan. This is a must have if you are a quilt collection like me, I can't wait for the red/chocolate to come it.

NOTE: It does run very small, if you have a King bed you must find a bed skirt to match or it will not cover your box spring. I have just a full size bed and am using a king, only inconvience is the bottom corners drag a little.

I really like this quilt---it is soft and has a good weight. I purchased the brown quilt with the blue trim and I really like the colors. I only wish it was a little bigger. I have a King bed and I would like it to hang down more on the sides.

This is a nice product for those living in warmer climates. Well constructed, washes well, not too hot, but, it's so small. We bought the queen size and it barely fits the mattress. The marketing picture shows a properly fitted bed spread, but that is not how the queen fit. Most of the brown boarder will be on top of your mattress, not hanging down the side as the picture shows. I tried this out on two different queen size mattresses with the same results. Also, if you pull the spread up over the pillows, the bottom edge of the spread will be at the top of the mattress, nothing will be left to hang down at the end of the mattress. I plan to return the queen and replace it with a king size so it fits properly.
