There are no reviews so since I took the plunge I figured I'd give some feedback. The bench came well packaged. It was easy to assemble however two washers were missing so I had to go to my toolbox. There are also two dents in the wood at the base of the bench. Looks like a handling issue but I didn't notice it right away. They are not too bad so I will keep it instead of trying to exchange. There is also some kind of glue residue on one corner. These three reasons are why I didn't give it 5 star. But aside from this it's a beautiful bench. The top is actually a very dark brown and it has chocolate brown stitching on all the seams. So it creates a nice look but know that the stitching is visible and lighter than the leather. The leather has a little texture to it, its not completely smooth to the touch but not like a football or anything, just a little more grain to it. Buttons seem very sturdy. It's a firm bench which is what I wanted in a dining bench. It seems strong and sturdy but is still lightweight. The leg color is pretty much what you see. It's a dark cherry. So it looks brown in dark and gives a reddish tone in light. Overall very nice and for the price it can't be beat.
