What they don't tell you is that this chest is particle board with some sort of wood grain paneling stuff so it feels very light and cheap. The lock on it is a piece of junk. The keys that came with it had some bad burrs on it which prevented the lock from rotating fully. Even after fixing that the lock still wont always turn a full rotation. It just feels poor quality. It was bought as a gift and the first thing that happens is that she locks it and can't get it to unlock. So I had to use a little trick for this "secure" lock. If you turn the button so that the slot on it is pointing around 4-5 o'clock and push the chest will open. Kind of a crappy chest.

This is a perfect size for the foot of a twin sized bed. It is well built and has good directions overall. The only difficulty I had was with the lock. It is held in place with four screws. With mine, two of the holes were not completely through. I used a drill to finish the holes, but it may be that hammering the right sized nail through would have worked. I am well pleased with the chest.
