Black/oak Shaker Bench

the black was black, but the oak was so red it looked more like mahogany! which of course doesn't work with the black/oak table and chairs purchased from the same vendor.

I am sorry to say that I was not satisfied with the BORM059 / 36536 / Shaker Bench in Black and Oak that I had ordered. The packaging was done so poorly that I was reluctant to open and see if there might be any damage inside the box. When I opened the box, I found no damage to the shaker bench and all the necessary hardware was there. I was not happy with the "oak" color because it was more a "reddish" tone than "oak." In addition to the color tone, the wood grain pattern was also not acceptable.

Due to all the hassle involved with shipping the item back, I will not be returning it. Unfortunately, this is not a positive feedback but some comments from a very unhappy customer.
