I loved the design, but it would not stay on my wall. I purchased additional adhesive, spent another hour reapplying and it peeled of in 15 min. I do have paint with a satin finish. If a certain finish is needed, it would be a great benefit to the consumer to know in advance.

So this is advertised as a good kid's bedroom item but me and my roommates have it in our living room and with pictures of all of us. It is super adorable and we get compliments all the time on it!! It was sent all folded up and some of the brown got scuffed off the main trunk of the tree.
