60 by eighty is the size of a queen bed. this is about 5 inches both ways smaller than what it was claimed and i am very dissapointed. It barely covers my Full sized bed. actually its a just fit. I messured it and it is really 55 by 74 inches. I would not purchase this if you have a full sized, queen, or king sized bed. Only for a twin sized or a throw.
