This piece of furniture is as lovely as the picture. Exactly what I wanted. It arrived quickly (ordered on the week-end and arrived on Wed). Hands down, this was the best packed piece of furniture I have ever received; heavy cardboard boxing, styrofoam, wood corner pieces, amazing! It also was shipped FedEx, which means it wasn't kicked around a lot as UPS pkgs must be (based on their state when received). The vanity was not too difficult to assemble although a few holes were not perfectly aligned. The drawer on the left and the center drawer rub together just a bit however, it is also raining in Florida and it just might be the humidity. When it dries out (probably in October!), we will sand the sides a bit if they still stick. Otherwise the drawers glide smoothly in and out. The 'felt lined jewelry boxes' are actually felt lined wooden inserts with slots for rings and 1 large and 1 small cubby hole for other items. They do not take up the entire side drawers, but fit across halfway (from front to back) and halfway down from the top of the drawers.. I like this as it allows one to store make up items underneath the full length of the drawers. The vanity is sturdy. The bench is comfortable, with a well padded black vinyl top.
Really nice looking furniture but the quality is not the best. Some of the drawers are not closing correctly and some smaller parts that were needed to assemble the set were missing. All in all it's ok for the price.
