These are a good value for the price and if you have a Bed bath and beyond nearby you can get them for $25 and they often have 20% off coupons in addition.

While my luggage rack arrived intact, unlike a previous review, it appears to be cheaply made. When it is folded up, what is holding the straps in place is a single heavy duty staple on each strap. It you are storing the rack where it is visible when it is folded up, it looks ugly and cheap because of this. I also question how effective this will be long term -a staple -instead of the straps beings sewn together. If the box wasn't gone already, I would return it. Because of the odd size of the box needed, keep your box until you are sure you want to keep this item. I would not recommend ordering this item.

Almost a year ago this was given a poor review on Amazon. Wish I had paid attention to it prior to placing my order. In short, I couldn't agree more with that particular consumer. Mine never even made it out of the box. I merely opened the top flap of the box and saw that a large chunk of the wood brace had already broken off. I can't imagine that it would have stood up to suitcases being place on it, etc. for very long. This product was so cheaply made that I don't believe I'll ever be buying any Winsome items.

The good news is that, of course, Amazon did their usual quick refund when I returned it.

I needed a luggage rack for my guest room but didn't want to spend $50 or more for the ones I was finding (I wanted wood, not the ugly metal ones that are cheaper). Then I found this one and it looked good in the pictures and guess what?! It also looks good when you get it out of the box! The wood is very pretty and it's big enough and sturdy enough to hold the largest of suitcases. When it's not being used as a luggage rack, I put a large wooden tray on it and use it as a small table. Versatile and good looking!

One leg is cracked (through a doweled area) probably from no protection other than cardboard shipping box. The finish, while a nice dark color, is uneven due to poor prep of wood. Some areas are shiny, others have a rough texture. I may glue and refinish the crack or just send it back. I am too busy prepping for 35 arriving for Christmas!

I have been an Amazon shopper for over 6yrs.; recently placed about 16 orders! This is the first item that was unsatisfactory.

Update: This item was returned. I bought a small folding table instead.
