The frame arrived in perfect shape and was well-packaged with sturdy foam and cardboard reinforcements. I ordered the satin black finish and it looks really nice. The frame is made of a wood composite similar to the frames at IKEA and Michael's, which makes it lightweight and easy to hang on the wall (even on plaster). I used it to frame a 12" x 16" gallery wrap canvas with a 3/4-inch depth, which the 1/2-inch frame depth accommodates well; the quarter-inch that protrudes from the back isn't visible on the wall. It's uncommon to find such a nice frame with a deep rabbet for this price.

I was weary of purchasing this frame because a few of the previous reviews had stated that their frame arrived broken. However, our frame arrived in great condition and it looks very similar to real wood, but has a shiny finish which gives it a nice touch. Very light weight and a great size!

The frame looked even better in person. The item was carefully packaged to prevent any damage to the frame, which I appreciate. I will definitely buy frames from Craig again.

Beautiful frame and well made, no scratches and put together in a solid manner. The hangers to hang the frame are not what I would choose, but I am planning on changing them out and using a wire to hang the frame. Very sharp looking and good quality. The picture I was planning on using the frame for will definately be enhanced.
