I was totally impressed with this desk. This desk is a piece of life time furniture. Its extremely heavy, and the wood detail is superior. This desk, with its handsome appearance transformed my entire office. This was a really good investment for me.
I am giving this desk 4 stars because of the shipping. The company didn't bring it INTO my house (how hard would that have been??) and we couldn't lift it ourselves. However, the desk itself deserves 5 stars because it is so absolutely beautiful and sturdy and amazing and on and on and on. HOWEVER, I failed to look at the dimensions when I purchased it, and it will NOT fit in the room that I ordered it for. Also, it is so friggin' heavy (not necessarily a bad thing), that we had to hire a moving company to come move it into the house (because the delivery company didn't. Why???) But, like I said, now that it is sitting in my garage, it won't fit in my house. A sad day for me :( We are going to put it in my husband's office instead, I only wish I had looked at the measurements and KNOWN beforehand that it wasn't going to fit. Otherwise, this beautiful desk is well worth the price!!!
