Needed headboards for young boys and it works great. Lots of room for their stuff, i.e., books, Ipods, etc. Pretty easy to put together. In fact, we made it a learning experience with tools and they enjoyed that. Made it go by faster when assembling too.

This did the trick for me. I just wanted a simple shelved headboard for a twin. Sets up well and looks good. It's an evening project to put together Ikea-style, but as long as they ship all the parts and hardware (they did), that's no problem.
