I had an old metal frame with 4 legs for my full size bed with those twist type connections to adjust and secure but never felt realy secure especially in middle of bed and a pain to get lined up exactly. This was very easy to put together with slotted holes for different size beds so no measuring involved. Only 2 little bolts for middle piece so went together in 2 minutes and box spring just dropped right in perfectly. Feels pretty solid and nice having extra support in middle of bed.
The was excellence, strong, durability, easy to put together, a perfect size for a queen size bed, though it is also adjustable for a full size. I would recommend this to anyone.
