I purchased this item through Amazon in the first week of January 2012. It took about two weeks to arrive. I checked all over the internet to see if I could find it cheaper elsewhere and Amazon had the lowest price. I was even happier than I expected to be with the quality of the furniture and the ease of putting it together. The product is very solid and all wood. Even the backing is sturdy wood. Putting it together went very quickly. The manufacturer uses an innovative latching system rather than your typical screws. I wasn't too sure about it since I had not seen it before but the end product was very sturdy and so easy to put together. The length and depth easily fits my 55" flat screen and could accommodate a larger screen as well. I really like that the sides are flat so the piece can fit between two cabinets with no gap caused by molding being in the way. I have two armoire type closets on either side that I got from a big box home improvement store so I can hide the toys behind doors. The color was a great match and it looks like all one set.
I really loved the look of this entertainment center. The way it is put together, I'm sure it will be very sturdy. However, the color of the top flat piece doesn't quite match the white of the rest of the cabinet it's a little darker, but I can live with that. The most disapointng part was that the pre-drilled holes in which to install the shelves behind the glass doors don't match up on either side. So, basically, you can't use the dividers/shelves in the cabinets because they would be sitting at a very noticeable slant. Bummer.
