First of all, I need to point out a mistake in the product description. The ledge is actually 1.75" in height not 1.25".I purchased the ledge to put above the tub in my master bathroom to add a little decor to the plain walls. Installation was very easy as the directions were very clear and upfront. I had never installed a floating shelf/ledge before, but this went up easily and without and issues. I think it looks great and would definitely recommend it.
