I ordered 2 of these at the same time, they arrived very well packaged, and 19 days earlier than the earliest estimated delivery date. The first one was to say the least an absolute nightmare to put together! It was doable though, took about 4 hours of looking at the multiple sheets of instructions, then at the pieces laying on the floor, and reading the descriptions of all the included hardware (my favorite pieces being the "eccentric nuts").

You NEED for assembly, a ratcheting screwdriver set with a phillips head bit, and a square bit, a hammer, and a wide open space to lay everything out.

Only problem I had with the first one was one piece that screws onto the bottom side of the top, purely for decorative purposes was broken in half, it still went on fine but I need to touch up the finish where it looks cracked.

Second one went together like a breeze since I knew what I was doing, under two hours without any help. Only problem with that one was one of the drawers has an inch wide chip on the front, I'm not upset about it though, a stain pen will probably cover it up fine.

All in all a good buy, comes with a 5 year warranty, looks great, and HUGE, we emptied a 5 ft wide walk in closet into the two, and they still have space for more stuff. and they look MUCH better than in the pictures.

I found this piece to be just as I expected. Sturdy enough to last, yet affordable. It arrived in a timely manner and wasn't too bad to put together. There were no knicks or scratches, it was packaged well. It has plenty of storage space and looks very nice. I would recommend this for anyone who needs a chest to last 4 or 5 years. It's not Ethan Allan, but will serve the purpose. Great value for the price.

The dressers were delivered in a very timely manner. The dresser itself is sturdy and looks great. I am particularly happy that the drawers glide smoothly. The dresser comes disassembled so you will need to have the ability to assemble it.

I bought the dresser for my newborn. When we received the dresser it had broken pieces and had to wait for another shipment of the dresser to build. The dresser is hard to assemble and the directions did not help much. A lot of small screws and etc. Be ready to have a couple of hours to build and extra hands would help. Good Luck***

This was my second piece fron the South Shore collection so it was much easier to assemble than the first. The assembly instructions are a bit difficult to follow but the actual assembly is fairly simple. This dresser/chest looks bigger once assembled and holds a lot. All things considered, I would recommend this item. When assembling, I run a bead of wood glue around the seams of the drawers to help keep them from falling apart. If I have any problems with this item, I will update this review.
