Poundex St. Croix Coffee Table

There were no reviews available for this table but I decided to buy it after some research as I liked the color/size and there are drawers in front.

It was very well-packed for shipping and no damages were found during the transit. There was a missing hardware, so I had to wait for another week until I could assemble, but customer service was very helpful and prompt.

Only thing I would like to point out is that the item description is not correct. It looks as if there are 4 drawers just as written in the description, but there are actually 2 big drawers.

Regardless, I am satisfied with this table assembly was really easy, the color is very nice espresso which matches with my other furnitures and the size is perfect for my room!

Since online prices often vary, let me start by saying that this coffee table cost me $242 plus shipping. Most expresso finish coffee tables cost from $100 $200 at the time of my research, so this one was at the expensive end. I chose this one because it has drawers and it has no bars across the bottom of the table, allowing me to put my feet through, while sitting on the floor. The manufacturer did not provide a manual which made assembly much more challenging than necessary. There also were some minor imperfections due to poor workmanship and material(scratches under drawers and damage under table, but not visible unless table is overturned). The shipping also made a large whole (size of a quarter) in the box which made a nickel size dent in one of the pieces. Luckily the dent was on the inside which in my mind was not worth a return. Overall, because of prize ($242 plus shipping), careless shipping (resulting in dent) and lack of setup instructions, I don't highly recommend this table. I don't regret it but don't highly recommend it either.

I received the coffee table and end table promptly. They were very well packaged, in fact it took me as long to unpack as to assemble the pieces. They have a nice finish, are heavy and well made. I am very pleased with the appearance.

I am sure all the others who gave this pile of junk 4 or 5 star rating either work for the company or were paid off. Many IKEA tables that cost less than $100 are better than this pile of firewood.

1. The bottom portion of the top wooden block had splinters that will impale your fingers if you run over it

2. Our shipment had two back-left legs and no front-right leg

3. The cornice on one of the legs had come off probably due to shipping damage

4. You can see a gap between the cornice and one of the side boards

5. There were scratch marks on the top wooden block

6. Cheap drawer scaffolding and hinging

Overall, this is the lowest quality table that you can get for premium pricing. We are sending this right back. What a rip off!!
