I loved this foot stool so much that I ended up buying three. The storage is wonderful (I fit a queen sized comforter into one). We have been using them as foot stools/ coffee table in our study. The kids can easily move them to use as seats for their video gaming. If I could figure out where else I could use them I would certainly buy more. I would consider the quality equal to the cost if not better . . . truly a good value for the function.

I bought this item hoping it would work for guests at my b&b, many of whom are chemically sensitive. The exterior is great but the interior is lined with something that is definitely off-gassing hugely--even I have headaches from it, and I'm not very sensitive. In time it will improve, hopefully, and until then I can put it at my cabin. Fine if you're a regular person. I wish furniture manufacturers use non-chemical stuff in furniture--it really can't be good for any of us in the long run.

This was my first time taking a chance on ordering furniture on line. I was very pleased with the quality and color, but I didn't like how low it looked. I finally got out my tape measure, and it was a good two inches lower than the description had said! That was very disappointing, because the dimensions made a big difference to me and I carefully considered those in making my purchase. Otherwise, it's a very nice product.

We bought this about six months ago to match our espresso microfiber/leather living room set and it looks perfect. We can fit a huge comforter, two queen pillows, and a few tall stacks of PS3 games inside along with extra controllers and cords. We wanted an ottoman rather than a standard coffee table because of our son (more monkey than boy) and our large dog (also more monkey than dog). I was concerned the feet would scratch the hardwood floors has not been an issue. The leather has held together even with constant abuse and I don't think a single stitch has come undone yet. Pretty amazing for what we put it through on a daily basis.

I am actually ordering a second one for my home office to replace two cheap small ottomans that just don't compare.

I can see why this item isn't currently available. The leather is a rich dark brown with a nice storage interior. I'm currently using two of them as extra seating in the family room. But they would also look great in the bedroom as they match a dark brown leather storage bench. I'm glad I jumped on buying them before they were unavailable. You can't go wrong!
