TV Dresser Stand Louis Philippe Style in Cherry Finish

This is one classy dresser! We got a new TV over the holidays and with the increased size decided we needed a grander stand for it. We have a couple other Louis Philippe pieces and I was worried this wouldn't fit in as well....but it looks perfect!! It's very sturdy and well-made...I really like the look of it in our bedroom. No more wimpy bookcase serving as a TV stand, now it's officially all pulled together. The components fit perfectly in the two cubbies and the height of the stand is perfect for watching TV from bed. The drawers glide easily and are perfect for extra storage. So happy we made this purchase!

OK so, when I order this piece of furniture the picture was nice; but at the price I thought I would get an average piece that would work. I just recieved it and set it up with the TV on it. It was ten time better than expected and at the price I paid a hundred times better than I expected. Although not up to the quality of my expensive pieces; its pretty darn close. The color and style are so close that unless you knew the difference you would not be able to tell it was a cheaper piece. VERY NICE SURPRISE...

Arrived on time at the end of the day after I called to schedule delivery and had to be unwrapped and unpacked per instructions to inspect on receipt because item could not be returned if damaged after shipper had signature. It was a hassle to unpack it because it was so mummified in cardboard and plastic. The quality was not very good, not a particularly good finish. It was missing the plastic base on one of the legs so it wobbled. I should have looked for a better name brand. On the other hand, it is functional though I wish the drawers were a little larger to accommodate DVDs for storage to read label on edge.

The item was shipped a week later than the given ship date at time of purchase. To add to that disappointment, the furniture was damaged badly in four different areas. It actually looks like it was previously damaged, patched up and painted and then shipped out to me. Seems like this company is not selling "Fine Furniture" as they say.. very disappointed!

This piece of furniture is pretty heavy as well, so getting it back in the box and shipped back is a whole other issue.
