DIY Design Art Foam Sponge Digit Wall Clock

I was looking for a large, unique clock to put in the pinnacle of my vaulted ceiling. Everything I found was bulky, traditional and way too expensive until I found the DIY clocks. I looked at several before choosing this one. I mainly chose this because it was black. I was a little apprehensive because it was foam and I didn't know how big the numbers were, since I wanted to make this large. The clock itself felt rather cheap when I pulled it out of the box and the numbers were only about 2.5" tall, so I was a little nervous. We put the clock up anyway at an 18" radius (36" diameter) and it is AWESOME! It looks outstanding and makes a statement, I love it and the price I spent. The clock itself so far seems to be accurate and the numbers may be slightly smaller than I had originally wanted but they look sleek.

Additionally, the clock comes with a guide to line everything up, and since we wanted it bigger, we taped the guide to the wall and used a measuring tape to extend the radius, just marking where we wanted it. It worked perfectly and looks outstanding.

The clock came in great condition and looks beautiful on our wall! The instructions were kind of confusing, but it wasn't hard to figure out for ourselves.

My boyfriend and I love this clock. We only used the numbers 12, 3, 6, & 9 to give it a classier, less cluttered look. Amazing product. Very adhesive.

I was SO excited to get this clock, it finally came after weeks of waiting and it was flimsy (something the reviews had warned me about) but, hey, for this price, yeah, I can deal with flimsy. I had to push the hour hand down a little because it was hanging loosely and wouldn't keep time. The directions were easy to follow, except I got impatient with the stickies and ended up making it look more "artsy" because I got sick of following directions. It was easy enough for a half a**er like me. I would suggest getting the more expensive one and leave this to college dorm rooms. The stickies were also INCREDIBLY sticky and when I peeled them off to reposition them they left behind black foam crap on my wall. Really sticky is AWESOME except... well... it stuck TOO hard and wouldn't be a good for a renter like me.
