The picture makes the curtains seem more opaque and light blocking than they actually are. They provide privacy, but still allow quite a bit of light to get in. Regardless, I do love these curtains and they're a great addition to my room. I would suggest them as long as you aren't expecting opaque curtains.

I have gotten tons of complements on them and I love how they finish off the rooms, very shear so I would recommend using them with blinds.

These sheers are just as pictured. I added a solid layer of caramel-colored sheers underneath, producing a unique look in my new house. I couldn't find anything comparable in local stores. And I was especially happy with the reasonable price since this is a short-term location for us.

these are REALLY sheer, and the super-thin, low-quality brown material looks awful with the sun filtering through. the panels do not have the sheen depicted in the photo either.
