First off, the actual color of the dresser is much darker than pictured. It actually looks dark brown and not cinnamon.

Second, the construction is not great. Contrary to what it says on the description, the joinery is NOT dovetailed. The manufacturers need to look up what that means before they use it to describe the joinery. The sides of the drawers are stapled to the face. And the drawer bottoms are solid, but the drawers don't feel very solid when you pull them out. They shift a little and feel rather flimsy.

However, for the price it's an ok dresser.

I bought this item from Amazon last year after a very lengthy search for a particular type of bureau. I went to some stores in NYC that sold Modus furniture to check on the quality before I bought it. It's a nice piece of furniture, but for some reason, the photo shows a cinnamon colored item, but what I received was a much darker brown and that's the actual color; there's apparently no other version of it. I like it a lot. The quality is excellent for the price and it provides a lot of space. But I had expected a color far closer to what was depicted cinnamon rather than mahogony. A very good buy and a nice piece of furniture nonetheless. One less star because of the misleading color.
