This unit is very attractive. It is not very heavy or sturdy, but it's fine. For $300+ I really wouldn't expect more. It comes in a lot of pieces

and takes about an 1 hour plus to put together. My husband balked at the quality while putting it together, but once finished, he really liked it.

Don't hesitate to buy, unless you want a heavy made piece.

Although the finish on the unit is excellent, the quality of the joints are substandard. This unit is priced that it should be constructed more carefully. Not so sure about adding new pieces to my collection!
