6 Drawer Nouvelle Chest

The dresser is beautiful and easy to assemble except the drawers that needed a hammer and glue to assemble. The drawer bottoms don't stay glued and connected to the back so when its all done drying there's a separation from the back to the bottom of the drawer unless you put weights on the back of the drawers to hold the glue in place. And it takes four hours or more to dry. Plus to slide in the sides of each drawer your not suppose to have to use a hammer but you can't do it without using one because the side insertions are too tight. And when you end up using a hammer to slide the drawers sides in place you end up splintering the wood almost making it impossible to put the drawer back together. These are the two negatives. My whole dresser is assembled but one drawer's back is still slightly separated from the back where the bottom of the drawer meets the back so I have to make another trip to the hardwhare store to buy wood glue because the glue the dresser comes with is insufficient for the amount of drawers that have to be glued. I ended up paying over 150.00 dollars for a dresser I could have bought in a store assembled and saved my self the dresser drawer glue problem and time.

Came quickly. Easy to put together. But corners are sharp, so be careful where you place it. You wouldn't want anybody getting jabbed as they walk by. Drawers are shallow and lightweight. Drawer pulls are plastic. One is already broken and I've only had it a month or so. But handles can be easily replaced. I'd give it a 3 and a half out of 5 stars if you're looking for a contemporary piece with simple straight lines.

Great dresser for the money, fairly easy to assemble. Only 4-stars because the handles are flimsy, I changed them out with some nice brushed nickel ones from Lowe's. Looks great, bought the matching night-stand too. I've had it for a good 3-4 months now, its holding up pretty well...

I couldn't find the dementions on this item. That is a big problem when you have a limited amount of space to put furniture. You might want to change this Product description to include it. I wont buy it with out knowing. In fact, it stoped me form ordering it today.

the price isn't too bad. the size of the drawers are kind of small. once i assembled the dresser, i noticed that the top two handles were not staying put. i might go and buy new handles to add on. it wasn't too difficult to assemble...but annoying that those two handles became a problem AFTER i assembled everything.
