Prepac Brooklyn 60 Inch Audio Video Console in Espresso

I'm always hesitant to buy furniture online based on pictures alone, but I have to say that this particular unit met and surpassed my expectations. Engineered wood can be hit or miss, but this console is an absolute hit. The finish on all the parts is top notch and the finished product does not feel or look cheap. Instructions were simple to follow and accurate. If something does not line up is because the orientation of the piece is incorrect or the wrong piece is being used. All pre-drilled holes were perfectly placed. Do yourself a favor and use an electric drill to build the unit. It will cut down the build time in half. Which is not long, I had the entire unit built in less than one hour.

The only reason I did not give this console 5 stars was because I wish the back was also engineered wood instead of cardboard. They also pre-drilled wholes on the back piece, but none on the legs or back parts of the unit for some odd reason. One wish I would also like included is clips or a rail to support cables along the back. I installed those myself but it would have been a great addition from the factory.

All in all, I'm very pleased with this unit and the price was extremely reasonable. I highly recommend this unit.

Overall look is good and I'm sure this will be fine for a couple years or so. The quality is questionable the veneered surface is thin, so it easily scratches. It's not real wood of course, but then the price is very reasonable so it's absolutely a "get what you pay for" scenario. Overall, I'm satisfied because the price was low enough to make this semi-throw away after a couple of years.
