I purchased this quote to put on my classroom wall, and it looks great. I applied it to a wood surface without cleaning it first, and it still adhered well. I noticed that another reviewer mentioned the difficulty of application, which might have been due to the lack of instructions supplied in the packaging. Fortunately, I had purchased a wall quote from another company that provided instructions:

1.) Prepare the surface by cleaning it with alcohol and allowing it to dry.

2.) Flatten the quote on a desk/table.

3.) Rub over the letters with a credit card.

4.) Slowly remove the backing from the letters. If they stick to the backing, replace the backing and smooth it over with a credit card.

5.) Place the adhesive back of the quote onto the wall.

6.) Smooth the quote with a credit card to ensure adhesion to the wall.

7.) Apply a damp paper towel to the front of the quote to aid in the release of the letters from the paper on the front.

8.) Slowly remove the paper from the letters (NOT at a 90 degree angle, or the letters will peel). If the letters begin to peel, lay the paper back down and go over it again with a credit card.

Easy to transfer to our wall. The instructions state that this should only be placed on a "flat wall", but I was able to install it on our spray textured wall. Our spray texture is like most in new homes, it not very rough so the sticker stays in place. It takes a little more patients and work, but it can be done. I think it took me about 15-20 mins to complete the job.

1st this was from China and it looks like the sticker price was only a $1......2nd the sticky part of the words was on the wrong side of the letters so if i were to put on the wall it would be backwards.....waste of $4 of my hard earned money.

Nice Quote the only BIG problem was that the letters were not straight they were crooked and look funny, trust me youll see it when you get it and want to take it down right away, DONT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
