Overall, the box spring/foundation ended up being fine. However, the instructions were wrong and they shorted us several pieces. I'm one to follow instructions, and if it was just me working on this, I would have given up and returned the item. Fortunately, my husband is one to throw instructions away and he was able to move pieces around and supplement the missing screws to make the foundation work. Finished product is fine, but plan on at least an hour to try to figure out how it's put together.

The reason I gave 3 stars and not lower is that the end product is excellent. Steel construction, very solid, great foundation mattress. While strong, it's also quite light and easy to carry around.

As i write this, I'm sweaty and tired from putting this thing together. The instructions are not the worst I've seen, but they are NOT GOOD. Not all parts were labeled, many of the connecting pieces were not straight, and it took my husband and I 2 hours to wrestle this thing together. His comment when it was complete: a sarcastic, "Well THAT was fun."

Know ahead of time that assembly is not quick or easy. Also know that it's a good product when completed.
