ADF Ivory Queen Anne Vanity Arm Bench

I was at first very impressed at the fabric and the padded bench. The legs are actually shorter than it looks it is a foot rest at best.

The legs are screwed on with a screw pre attached and two more screws need to be screwed on from the bottom. There are no holes so you just have to push hard on the screw.

One of the leg's pre attached screw came off. There is no way you can fix that because it is actually two screws attached one side in the leg and the other side in the seat. If you put a lot of pressure on the seat side screw to set it firmly, the leg side screw comes off totally.

So I attempted to fix the leg with just the two additional screws. Since there are no holes on the seat itself, you really have to find the right angle to drill in the screw. I bearly made it so the leg is not shaking, but now, there is only two thin screws that support the leg...

I would not let any adult sit on this as this WILL make the leg wobble and fall apart being an experienced furniture assembler and the wood is so weak that it was about to crack when I screwed the screw.

This is at best, a chair for photo shooting occasional sitting or to be used as a foot rest or to put your bag or coat on.

Maybe for a child 5 years and younger, but CANNOT be used for adults as the flimsy legs will NOT hold the weight of an adult.

I REGRET buying this and the only reason I am not returning is because of the return hassle and costs, as this was not Amazon Prime.

I hope Amazon would prescreen these bad craftmanship products yes made in China really no reason to shop at Amazon if they sell lower than average products!!!!

THE ITEM I RECEIVED WAS AN EGG YOTE COLOR INSTEAD OF THE CREAM IVORY COLOR AS IN THE PICTURE. THE MATERIAL WAS ALSO LOOK DIFFERENT AND FEEL CHEAP. THE BOX SAID MADE IN 2009?? AND THEY CLAIMED THIS BENCH IS NEW?? I DID NOT WANT TO BOTHER WITH THE RETURN BUT DISAPPOINTED. I WISH THEY (AMAZON/ASIA DIRECT FURNITURE) WOULD REFUND MY PURCHASED OR AT LEAST SOME KIND OF CONPENSATION. THANK YOU!

Unscrew the plastic caps from the leg screws to screw them in to the seat and the two other screws per leg. Stable and sturdy, though the springs do creak a bit. A lovely piece in a nice damask cloth, quite wide, lightweight and easy to move. I use it in the master bath to sit on when changing shoes.
