To simple categorize these chairs as folding would be a disservice. They make for a good kitchen chair and I love the fact that I can store a couple in my hall closet.
We were very happy with the two chairs, they are very well made with attractive fabric on the cushioned seats. They are great for the college age who are moving with their things to new apartments and new jobs. Folding chairs simplify that and are nice enough for them to use until they can afford to upgrade. We also bought an attractive wooden folding table to use with them for our college student granddaughter.
