flimsy had to buy more L hooks to attach to bed so it wouldn't come off bed when bed is moved, Purchased matching bed somewhere else and had to use 3 1/2 inch screws to hold bed together==every time I moved bed --bed fell apart! Save your money and buy something made of good old quality qood! I'm a single,budget shopper,on a pay freeze for several years but they sure don't make furniture like they used too! Expect to expend some time and extra money into L hooks so it stays attached to bed firmly and securely, without being flimsy and flopping around!

I bought the entire South Shore Step One Gray Oak collection for our guest room. It looks really good for the price paid, but I hate having to buy furniture that has to be assembled. What a pain in the neck. It took us two days to get all the pieces (bought 6 different items in the collection) put together.
