The adhesive is very strong, so make sure you align correctly before you allow the boards to join. There's no fudging once they touch.

Note that the given dimensions, (11.34" deep, 13.4" wide and 12.6" tall), are the outside measurements. The horizontal boards are 5/8" thick, and the vertical boards are 7/8" thick, so the interior space is 11.34" deep, 11.65" wide and 11.35" tall. So if you're using this as a little bookcase, it's too short to accomodate standard ring binders. Get the Cube "Plus", which is 13.75" tall inside.

Ok, so I ordered three of these in a hurry and, silly me, read the comments AFTER my purchase. I knew exactly what I wanted and the color and this fit the bill. I did not anticipate the assembly part of it....double sided tape???? For real??? Well they arrived and I assembled them and was surprised as to how sturdy they were. I'm impressed! I am using these as book shelves and they are working out very well. I will be ordering a few more of these as I underestimated how many books I had.

I watched the videos of the guy putting these things together and thought easypeasy, no tools involved!... and yet was prepared to be let down by these things and need to return all. Thankfully, surprisingly, that was not the case. So easy, so sturdy, nice modish look and I have most of my daughters toys in and on them. I stacked six in different colors and she thinks they're cool and fun and liked them as soon as she saw them. It's so easy she even kinda helped me line up the sides to put them together (she's only 4). They are also quite light, which was surprising to me. That 3M adhesive they use is amazing too.

Just a note...if you order the blue be prepared for a very deep, dark blue, not lighter almost periwinkle color that you might see on the screen. I thought it would be a little less intense of a blue, but we kept them because my daughter still liked the color. Very much the primary blue color that you might remember from the color wheel in art class.

This is a wonderful product. I was looking for 2 bedside tables to fit a tiny space, and was unable to find anything in the way of solid furniture that would fit. Everything was too big, too heavy and too overdesigned. I saw these, and they fit the bill perfectly. They are easy to construct, extremely sturdy, look very good for the price (they're not solid wood, and you can't expect them to be that), fit the space, are the right height and colour, and fit with my stylish but environmentally-aware ethos. I would recommend this product to anyone. An excellent and well-designed solution.

I love these storage units, less expensive than most others I have seen, but not cheaper than actual bookcases for the same amount of space (although much more versatile than bookcases). They are versatile and stackable and I buy black fabric drawers to go in them which really finishes off the look. If you look closely you can see they are not real wood, but I think they look sooo much better than any other storage cubes I've seen. With the fabric drawers, you pretty much cannot tell that they are not real wood. Most of the other storage drawers I saw were in odd colors, not as easy to put together, and even more expensive.

I have used these to cover most of a wall (4 tall x 10 wide) in one bedroom for clothing storage , stuff storage, etc. Also used a stack of 6 drawers (2 wide x 3 tall) put together as a TV stand. And used another stack of 2 x 2 for a keyboard stand. Perfect for kids rooms of any age, college kids, and I might even organize my closet with these as well.
