I will start by saying the frame itself is beautiful and exactly the look I wanted. I was trying to save some money from the $200 that Aaron Brothers quoted me. I saved the money but wow acrylic instead of glass? Cardboard backing? That's almost insulting to a frame this pretty. And worst of allNO WAY TO HANG IT. No hooks, nothing. Since ordering, I've been to the manufacturer's site and see that you are given options on the glass etc, which I didn't see when ordering on Amazon. I would have gladly paid a little extra to have a hook & some wire! Right now I've got a lovely frame with cheap parts sitting on my floor.

I underestimated 1.5" thickness on such a large surface. I would have preferred it to be thicker. However, I don't knock off a star for that. I mostly just feel the product is a little cheap looking, but for the price that should have been expected. It will do the job. I just feel the picture online looks better than it does in real life. Note: the clear protectant is a thin plastic instead of glass. So, perhaps that's what was off-putting. Perhaps I missed that in the description.

I use this frame for a charcoal sketch. I think it is a very nice piece for a very good price.
