I was pleasantly surprised by the construction of this rod, and positively delighted by the big "Made in the USA" sticker on the plastic wrap protecting it. It is much sturdier than other rods I have purchased at higher expense, but the real shocker for me was the joints...You have a three piece tube, but the joints utterly disappear (I really have to look to see the stinkers) due to the disappearing tapered plastic/rubber ends (how did they do that???). My grommeted curtains glide right over it without a hitch. I am very happy with this purchase, and will certainly purchase more.
I like this Double Rod, the quality is solid metal. very good painted and looks just as it should be simple and elegant. I'm very pleased.
