I have this jute runner in my entry way. The flooring is a hardwood-look vinyl in rich wood tones, and this rug is just perfect, especially with the simple, black "framing." I use black a lot in my furnishings and fabrics, so this rug really complements the flooring and ties it into the rest of the living room decor. It has a non-skid substance on the back which really keeps it in place. The fabric frame wraps around to the backside, and is very well stitched in place. The jute is very tightly woven, and I'm sure it will last a long time. It is now my cat's favorite rug to stretch out and roll around on. This is only one of a number of items I have ordered from Home Decorators Collection through Amazon, and everything has arrived ahead of schedule and in excellent condition. I highly recommend this rug and vendor.
Actually this product never arrived, thanks to some bungling at UPS, which resulted in the rug being sent back without ever getting to us. We ordered a different rug with pattern, and feel that we are happier with it than the plain version we originally ordered.

This rug is nice. The color is good. The quality of the border material is nice. We ended up returning it because it was too big for our space. Also, because the main field is so plain, we were worried we would see every spot on it.

This rug is good quality and heavy duty. The color (saddle) is pretty true to the photo color. There is a rubber backing on the bottom so they do not slide on the floor. I will purchase these again.
