The "red" curtains are actualy burgundy w/ a cream check; which I was hoping for. The material is a good weight. I would recomend these curtains to anyone looking for a little country detail.

Good, heavyweight fabric with proper stitching. The 'cream' color in the fabric has dark undertones in it so it's not a bright cream hue, it's more of a subdued creamy taupe. Great quality fabric. The color was perfect, more of a darker red,and goes well with my Italian decor. I needed to get a curtain to cover the kitchen door window, but, didn't want to purchase it until I made sure that the color was what I was looking for. As other reviewers have said, the red and white is actually deep red (not quite burgundy) and cream. This didn't match my kitchen and I had to send them back. They are of great quality, though, with even stitching and consistent length. The fabric is a great medium weight type that has weight to it and hangs nicely. I bought another pair of curtains from this same brand and was very impressed with them, too. I wouldn't hesitate to buy more (as long as they are in the right colors this time!)
