I rarely write reviews, but this product deserves one. I am so satisfied with this storage unit that I show it to my friends and neighbors. This is the best product to hide grandkids toys. My guest bedroom serves adults and grandchildren. Six 13" high boxes full of toys and other keepsakes fit under my queen Store More. It's just wonderful!!! I am considering purchasing two for our vacation home in the mountains. I highly recommend this product.
Forever Store More Mattress Foundation Size: KingI purchased one of the california king model and have been using for close to 6 months. I placed a 10 inch latex mattress on the unit. Even with this ultra heavy mattress on it, it is easy to slid around the bed on carpet. It's super easy to assemble. The only issue I have with this frame, the slats are to far apart. The cloth top that goes over it is not designed to be supportive. I believe it's more of a squeak guard. The bed felt like it had waves in it. You could tell where the gaps and the support bars were. I had sanded plywood cut and placed on top of the cloth top and put a bed skirt over the plywood. I would imagine a regular inner spring would not have this issue, since it is more rigid. A 100% organic latex mattress has absolutely no rigidity at all. I would assume a memory foam mattresses would have a similar problem to some degree.
A little more information, the gap is 9.25 inches between slats and the slats themselves are 0.75 inches wide. The first slat and last slat are slightly less of a gap to the outer frame. They also have a four total pieces to bridge the first slat and the outside frame. This keeps the bed from falling in-between the outer frame and the first slat.
I do enjoy having all the space under the bed. I never used the head board or foot board mounts, so I can not comment on them. For the most part it does not squeak. Other than having to modify the device slightly, which I have to deduct stars, I pretty happy with the unit. The bed frame all assembled really is not that heavy. I know all the metal in the frame makes you think its a heavy beast.
