Sound Asleep Room-Darkening Rod Pocket Ascot Window Valance

The valance is beautiful, and I am still happy with it. But the pictures all show 2 valances butted up against each other. I assumed the photo was just one valance, having two points. When it arrived, it was just one with a single point in the middle. It is still lovely, but if I had known I would have bought a different design elsewhere. Just be warned, it is one valance with a single point. The description does not make that clear. Nice fabric though, very pretty.

I returned this item as I thought the picture was one 42" valance with 2 downward points. I did not see any place where it said the picture was two valances, hung side by side. Also, I thought the ivory color was more sand colored.

I hung these today and they are nice but know if you are ordering the mushroom color they are not at all what I think mushroom should be. These are more of a grayish green tint (reason for 4 star) but they actually are the same color as one of the colors in my comforter so they worked out well. I certainly didn't order them with that in mind. I was going for more of a typical mushroom or a medium linen shade.

I was glad I read the reviews first because like many reviewers stated, I thought one valance came with two "points" which it does NOT. My window is 46" wide so I needed two valances to achieve the fullness I wanted so I got my two "points" anyway. The fabric is fairly heavy weight being that it is chenille. The tassels are removable via buttons. Overall I'm pleased and would recommend.

Note: I see the description above says chocolate color but what I have is the mushroom color.

These valances are great! I used them in my bedroom, which is lilac, white, & touch of black, I havie one each topping off the white mini blinds in my windows, a touch of class ...........with the point in center & tassle hanging. Thanks for a quality product! (Textured material has a backing to block excess sunlight)

I only wanted the valence curtain for my window to add to the mini-blind. The product was made of a nice thick material, but it was very creased in the package (and still is), which required a lot of steam ironing ( hence the 4 rating). I used them on a large window (72 inches) and this required 3 valences for proper coverage. The valence looks very nice on the window and because it was dark brown, the creases do not show.
