I thought that this clock would meet my needs. Wrong. There was a red thin object laying at the bottom of the clock. It was daylight saavingss time when I figured out that it was the second hand just laying there. After I hung the clock up there was not a blue LED light circling the inner rim of the clock, there were little blue lights that were lit at at the numerals 12,3,6,and 9. This morning I looked at the clock only to find that there was no longer any blue light to be seen. I am more than disapointed and will never again purchase a Maple's clock.

The clock is exactly as described, looks great and provides just enough light to be able to walk through the kitchen without running into anything or stepping on one of the cats or the dog.
