Lewis Hyman 03709 Exterior Sun Shade

Purchased this for one spot on our patio where the sun was brutal in the afternoon. It installed easily, the directions were clear, and it was up in no time! Now we can sit on the patio in the afternoon without the blazing sun, giving us much more usable space outdoors during Florida's LONG summers!

My husband and I have had the 96" sun shade for about a week. It says the color is "montecito." I wasn't exactly sure what color that would be but it looks just like the picture. It was sort of hard to install but nothing my husband couldn't handle. I was holding up the other end and wasn't paying attention and it came down and hit me right on the head. It was my fault but I suggest you have the person holding up the other end pay attention (LOL).

It looks lovely. You can kind of see outlines of what is on the other side, from either side. It keeps the sun out nicely and acts as a sort of privacy screen as well. The cord that brings it up and down works great. Overall it really does what it's supposed to.

I paid about $64 for it (that includes shipping) and I would order one again if I need it. If we move and need a smaller one, I would get the same kind, just smaller. I'm very pleased with it.

We had a tight spot on our pergola to hang this, so it took a little longer to install, but it works great, looks great and have recommended it to my mother-in-law who also liked it. It shades the sun, but allows air to flow through. We put little hook on the underside of our deck top rail and hooked the shade to it and pulled it tight and it really helps to decrease the amount of sway when it is windy, we don't use it if it is really windy though..... would definitely buy again and recommend again......great product!!
