Elegant Metal Mannequin Stand

I purchased this mannequin expecting it to be cheap. The quality was amazing very sturdy. It looks more expensive that what it is. I actually changed the color of it because it matched my wall exactly and didn't stand out much. I covered the green leafs with aluminum foil and spray painted it with stone finish to give it a more antique look.

I bought tha stand for my little daughter and I love it. Made in china. Very good quality. There is a back door if you want to put stuff in. It is pretty big sized, I would guess it is about 5'5.

I am so pleased with this product. I bought it to display my mother's 1950's prom dress, and it looks absolutely beautiful on the mannequin. I was even able to drape a strand of pearls around the neck. I have it set in the corner of the bedroom.... I love it and so does everyone else that sees it.

The mannequin is so beautifully designed, that my teenage daughter said she would like one, plain... not dressed, for her bedroom. There is a back door that you can open (like a bird cage) with a little shelf in it that you can put eloquent jewelry, pins, or any other "showy" pieces on it. Of course this will only show if the mannequin isn't dressed. There is a lock on the bottom of the stand to keep it from accidently closing and falling. If you need to move it, the top piece easily comes off the stand. This was helpful when dressing the mannequin.

The mannequin overall is very heavy with thick unbendable wire, but the ivy which runs through it is slightly bendable. I was glad for this because I needed to bend it a little to fit the prom dress.

So either plain/as is, or dressed, this mannequin is beautiful. It will be the first thing people notice in the room and will ask you, "Where'd you get it?" :)
