DaVinci Modena Toddler Bed

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this bed. This had best feedback for durability and we haven't been disappointed. Both kids jump on it and nothing broke. Relatively easy to assemble. Definitely recommend.

My eldest daughter (just turned 4) has had this bed for 5 months now and it's standing up well.

1) My daughter loves it

2) It was quick and simple to assemble (about an hour is also what it took me)

3) It's been super sturdy. My daughter jumps on it now and again and not had any trouble.

Indeed I've just ordered another for my youngest (who just turned 2) to move to in a couple of months time.

Also I'm pretty sure the reviewer above who gave this bed a bad rating "good looking but not sturdy, November 13, 2011 by Sandrine" has got confused between this and another product. For one this bed doesn't even have a trundle drawer. Further all the problems described haven't been issues for me. I'll leave some feedback on the review so perhaps by the time you read my review here Sandrine's review will have been corrected or taken down.

This is a great toddler bed. Modern looking, well made. Nice storage in the drawer underneath. Bought the ebony one for my son too. The railings make it safe so the child doesn't roll out. Great buy! Husband put it together in less than an hour.

This is the perfect toddler bed! I wanted something sturdy and not flimsy. .This bed has exceeded my expectations! It is real wood and was super easy to assemble. It also has weight limit of 50lbs, but my son who is 40lbs keeps getting caught jumping on it so I'd say it can handle more! Lol! We are very pleased with this bed and would definitely recommend it!

We recently had to move our 1.5 year old daughter into a bed because she was able to get her leg over the crib rail. Rather than wait for her to fall 4 feet onto a hardwood floor in the middle of the night, this seemed liked the more proactive option.

The dresser we had purchased with her crib was also a DaVinci espresso and this matches the color perfectly for those who have previous sets. From our daughter's perspective, she seems to love it. The bed is sturdy enough for two toddlers to jump up and down on it (yes, tested), and for the price, it looks great!

I would, however, recommend that when you are assembling it, pay attention to the warning sticker and the direction it is SUPPOSED to face when putting everything together (for those of you that do not follow the manual... Otherwise, you may finish it and realize there is an ugly sticker facing outward and have to disassemble the entire thing.
