We bought this jewelry armoire because it looked so good. The description said it was wood with felt lining. The truth is that though the legs are wood, the drawers are made out of some sort of cheap pressed CARDBOARD. As this item is in a bathroom, I imagine that it will begin to warp soon from the humidity. Had I known it was constructed of cardboard, I certainly wouldn't have purchased it.The description says "felt lining." This, to me, means that it is lined with felt. However, the lining is a musty-smelling green soft-to-the-touch paper, which has a felt-like appearance but is still PAPER. It was already peeling from the edges when I opened it, brand-new.
One of the drawer pulls just flat out fell off when I pulled a drawer open for the first time. It was never attached; the screw was too small for the hole. I had to super glue it to the drawer in order to open that drawer. Who knows how long my quick fix will last?
The size is good and holds most of my jewelry. It looks good in my bathroom, but I feel like the quality is very, very low. I would have been willing to pay $40 for this, but at the price I paid ($100+), what I got is just super disappointing, and I feel really ripped off.
