This stool is actually very attractive if somewhat small. There is a hard piece of plywood under the top so there is no give to the top. I was assuming it would be woven material stretched over a void and thus have some play, but it is hard, Hard, HARD. Legs are rough finished wood with some stain and appear unfinished. I supposed the marketing speak would be "rustic"Save 7% Off
