We opened the box to put the day bed together and found that the back of the daybed is cracked through, and the finish on the drawer is damaged. hopefully they

can send new pieces. the boxes were not damaged at all obviously, they were shipped damaged. now we will see if the company stands behind its products.

This is solid wood (though not oak). It is really sturdy, unlike the metal tube framed daybeds. Assembly took less than 40 minutes The trundle glides in & out effortlessly on my carpet. I shopped online and in stores for over a year & to me, this satisfied my budget, need, and taste. Scheduling for the delivery was pleasant and uncomplicated.

When I moved to my little beach cottage, I knew I would eventually have to get rid of my old sofa, which I had brought with me (against my better judgment) from my grandmother's, where I had lived previously: it was uncomfortable, bulky, and only seated two and had one of those awful fold out spring beds that was great if you wanted a guarantee that overnight guests would never return. I liked what I saw online of this particular product, and it seemed to have generated mostly positive reviews from buyers, so I went ahead and bought it despite a somewhat higher cost than some comparable items. I am extremely pleased that I did. Despite being longer and deeper, this day bed feels as though it takes up less space in my living room (possibly because it is higher, which affords me a better opportunity of using it to hide other items in my living room, such as my bike). When I want to sit in the living room and watch TV while doing work on the computer, it's amazingly comfortable (granted, that's about the mattresses I chose to order separately -tempurpedics). Yes, you have to assemble the product once it arrives, but the pieces are expertly made, sturdy, and attractive. Assembly took me maybe an hour at most, working solo. Once all the screws have gone in, you have a VERY solid piece of furniture, and it looks gorgeous. I should warn that the finish is slightly darker than what you see in the picture, but that worked to my advantage because my existing living room set is darker wood anyway, so it matches those while standing out from the very light wood floors I have. I also won't deny that there were a few glitches along the way -the charge disappeared from my credit card and amazon seemed to have lost track of the customer at the same time, but once I contacted the vendor, I was able to confirm that the item had shipped and (in fact) due to arrive the following day. Anyway, you are looking at one VERY satisfied customer here and, I suspect, some very satisfied summer guests at my beach house.

We have been looking for a trundle bed for a bedroom/office for over a year. This product was perfect for our needs and we are very pleased. Good quality, nice looking, easy to assemble. Great value for the money. Delivery was later than promised, but the manufacturer was great about updating us. On the actual delivery date, delivery was made exactly within the time parameters given. Overall, a great purchase. Highly recommend this.

This bed is sturdy, not light weight and sooo pretty. The only problem I Had was the drawer was too shallow fo my deep mattress, so I had to purchase a thinner one for the drawerwhich is okay, because the drawer portion is rarely used.
