On ocassion, Amazon offers products that fall below reasonable standards of quality control. This table was much that case. The item arrived damaged -the table top itself was banged up and missing laminate on two corners. Additionally, the laminate around the edge of the table was not cut to proper length, so there is noticable (and annoying) 1/2" overlap where they simply glued the overlap on top of the lower section.

The item contained the wheels, but did not include the additional hardware listed as included on the instructions sheet -namely, the screws needed to attach the table top to the base. Once I scrounged up comparable screws from my personal hardware supplies, I discovered that (a) the base-to-table flanges were bent and needed to be manipulated to fit flush against the bottom of the table and (b) the guide holes in the bottom of the table were not aligned to the holes in the flanges. Purchase at your own risk -but if you are looking for a quality, stable portable table, I suggest you look to other products.

I couldn't even use this table. Just the act of putting it together and standing it up caused the screws to pull out of the table top. It is very cheaply made. The screws were less than a half inch long, not long enough to hold things together. Do Not buy!

I'm not sure what the fetish is among DIY-ers and Swedish furniture wanna-bes that makes it impossible to get even the most simple and straight-forward bit of TV-tray table-ish-ness sent with all the parts already assembled.

If you've got a warehouse with all the parts right there -and presumably even 1 (one) person with a power drill and a hammer -then the assembled table could be wham-bam-thank-you-m'am slapped together in about 3 minutes, and fitted into the EXACT SAME SIZE SHIPPING CARTON. As is, however; it comes with 4 little casters, a tiny, cheap wrench, (supposedly) a bag of screws, a table top, and a leg-assembly which have to be negotiated and coaxed together to create the table. Without a power drill, the screws do not have a snowball's chance of penetrating the un-hole'd (unholy) board top. I nearly broke my hand trying to exert enough pressure to make it work with just a screw driver.

But that was after a trip to the local hardware store, because our box came without screws.

In the end, we made a 2nd trip to the local DIY hardware store, and a very nice young carpenter pulled out his handy drill, and zip zip zip -it was all done -like changing tires on a race car. It only took 24 hours, 2 trips to the hardware store, and 4 very achy hands to make it happen.

That said, it is a very sturdy, smallish, solid table with plastic wheels. Amazon says the list price is $121.99. If I had actually paid $121.99 for this little piece of headache -this would not be such a polite review.

I really like this table. my laptop and mouse pad fits great. a couple of negatives thou. is a little too tall for me. is a little shaky the legs should be set closer to the edge of the table area.
