Decided to go with a metal frame as a preventative measure for bed bugs. This is modern yet warm with the faux wood accent bars. Fairly easy to put together (though half of the assembly instructions came shredded in the packaging). There were also a few dings in the frame (most likely occured during shipment) but we didn't notice until the frame was already assembled and at that point, we were willing to live with them.
This is a very nice bed with bed rails,light but sturdy.The cherry finish adds up to this silver bed.The bed frame is designed very effectively and this bed can be assembled in less than an hour.
