Boraam Sumatra 24 in. Swivel Counter Stool

I was looking for a stool the would be used for daily meals,,so it had to be a sturdy unit.The design and appearance caught my eye and met my criteria,,but the construction was not what I thought it would be. The wood used is quality and the finish is too but the hardware such as the swivel unit is not. The stool rocks as it swivels,, even though it is not supposed to. The swivel unit is flimsey and should be upgraded. The appearance is quality but the swivel is flimsey.

We bought three stools. two were shipped from the same place together and the third from someplace else (all "by amazon"). The third stool is of obvious lower quality. The swivel has far fewer bearings and the color and construction is different and low quality. The two that shipped together are stunning! Very high quality both in color and construction, including high end swivel mechanism. Too bad all three couldnt have been shipped together.

I have purchased these before, then sold my house furnished! So, when I needed barstools again, I had to have these. I love them. The delivery was prompt. The chairs went together smoothly. It only took about 1 1/2 hours to put 3 of them together. I love the look of these barstools. I am a basket collector, and the back reminds me so much of basket weave.

I would highly recommend these.

I love these barstools. The only thing I can say about them that may be negative, is that the instructions are backwards. Start at the end on the last step and move backwards. The instructions are incorrect. The first one I put together took a couple hours. When I put it together on the second try, I used my noggin and noticed that the instruction steps are all wrong?????? I put the next one together in about 45 minutes. Go to last step first on this one. But they are durable, and lovely. Worth the trouble.
