Boraam Shaker Chair, Set of 2

Chairs came on time. Communication from the seller was absent until I inquired about my order. The chairs are alright for the price. They are solid wood and look nice, but some of the screws were too long and some of the legs were a tad short making the chairs wobble. My husband had to do some creative fixes to get them to work right.

Stay away from this product! It showed up late and the shipping and handling cost more than the chairs. STAY AWAY!!! Go to Target or Wal-Mart or any discount furniture store. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!! Do NOT buy anything from this dealer! Not a good purchase!

The price is good but you will regret spending every penny on these chairs.

First, they came but a large number of them were damaged because they were not packed well.

They could not be used at all.

Also, a number of the chairs did not fit together as the production quality was so low.

The poor quality led to the chairs that I could assemble being unstable.

The directions are a single photocopied (no English) page of blurry pictures.

Finally, the company did not honor the refund policy.

They would email me thousands of questions with every email but, never would take the chairs back.

This is a complete rip off.

I was looking long a hard for wood chears for my kitchen which would be reasonably priced and look good. Those chairs are exactly what I was looking for: the back structure is solid with horizontal piese (unlike windsor style chairs, where vertical planks attached directly into seat). Also, legs are almost straight (again, in windsor style they are protruding far from seat, which creates a tripping hazard). Chairs are not big, which is a plus in our not too big kitchen. We have them for 2 years now, and there is no sign of any need of maintenance. I am very happy with them.

Some of the reviews were not stellar on these chairs. I ordered them anyway! I'm very glad I did. I purchased 8 to go with a new table. These are sturdy chairs for our family. I'm sure we'll give them lots of use. Assembly was quick. The directions were not good, but easy enough to figure out without directions. You'll need a power drill and the little hex head. There were comments about price, I paid $80 a pair, and got a really nice chair. I think it would be hard to find a better chair for the money. I wish they made barstools to match, I'd buy those too.
